Mission Statement
Tulsa Thunder Soccer Club, Inc., is a nonprofit organization of players, coaches, friends of youth and of the sport of soccer who are dedicated to the development of players and coaches to their highest competitive potential, utilizing the sport of soccer to foster international awareness, appreciation for cultural and ethnic diversity, and as a classroom for imparting life's important values of character, discipline, dedication, fair play, teamwork and respect. Its purpose is solely educational and charitable.
Club Philosophy
Tulsa Thunder Soccer Club, Inc., is a premier club with strong emphasis on character, player and team development.
We strongly believe that success comes from character development, hard work and basic skills. Our Coaching Staff will not sacrifice player development for microwave wins.
Thunder’s emphasis is on individual character development, technique and teamwork, tactical development, leadership, sportsmanship, discipline and integrity.
Integrity is what defines the new Thunder organization, and is the order of the day at Thunder. We refuse to sacrifice integrity over loyalty. In order to achieve success in life, all of the above must be integrated into oneness. But our Coaching Staff understands the fact that for all of the above to take place, we must create a fun, loving and family/community-oriented environment for our players and parents.
